Stability of Reliance of Information Sources and Clusterability of Information Networks

In this paper, by using a graph-theoretic framework, we treat relations between stability of reliance of information sources and cluster-ability of information networks. Then, we have insights on the extent of holding information in common in the information network. In particular, we propose two types of stability, named. Instability and N-stability, respectively, based on ideas in social psychology, and characterize those with bisectability and quasi-partitionability of information networks, respectively. Moreover, we show that it is impossible for information sources in an information network with H-stability to hold information in common, and that it is possible for information sources in an information network with Nstability to hold information in common.
