Numerical calculation method is more and more applied in thermal analysis area along with the development of the computer technology. Fluid-solid whole conjugated heat transfer method can take the mutual influence between fluid flow and heat transfer into account. Much more accurate and reasonable temperature field distribution can be obtained, which provides the required conditions for heat stress calculation. A certain type engine will be designed to get new model because of the technology innovation. It is needed to design the structure of the new cylinder block and water jacket and then to calculate the temperature field of the new model. Then the model is simplified reasonably and meshed. The whole conjugated heat transfer method was applied to calculate the engine temperature field. The analysis on the temperature field, velocity field and heat transfer coefficient results is carried out. The results show that the design scheme of the new water jacket model meets the cooling need of the new engine. But more researches on the phenomena and the rules of the boiling heat transfer on local heat point in the water jacket will be brought out.
