Modelling of ceramic microstructure

This paper gives a brief overview on the different probabilistic models, which can be used to model the microstructure of monophased or polyphased ceramics. These models require few parameters to describe their morphology. Many of them possess stereological properties and are easily tested using mathematical morphology.
