From basic researches, we have indicated that Lipopolysaccharides-O antigens and invasive protein antigens (Ipas) are two important antigens of Shigella spp. the virulence expression of Shigella needs association of these two antigens, and the best protections need these two antigens too. So we have constructed two types (inv~+/inv~-) of bivalent hybrid vaccine strains
