摘要

Multipath time delay estimation based on adaptive parametric approach using Third-order cumulants is proposed in this paper. Multipath time delays are estimated correctly with this approach, and spatially correlated symmetric noises can be suppressed effectively. The simulation examples are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of this novel approach. Some comparisons were done between this new approach and the traditional adaptive time delay approach based correlation approach. The multipath time delay estimation based adaptive parametric approach can be used to location targets in sonar and radar system and the mobile communication networks.
