摘要

1-decene monolayer was directly attached on silicon (111) surfaces by using a thermal (165 ℃, 3 h) process which uses hydrogenated (Si-H) surfaces as the precursor. Characterization by ellipsometry, water contact angle, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and photo-conductance decay lifetime measurements, reveals that that the alkyl monolayers are covalently bonded to silicon and show better stability after exposed to air.
