Crystalline morphology of a thermotropic aromatic polyester crystallized from liquid crystalline state

Recently it is of considerable interest in studies of the crystalline morphology of LCPs. For lyotropic aromatic polyamides it has been found that large spherulites can grow from anisotropic solution, but for a thermotropic aromatic polyester the morphology crystallized from its nematic melt is not well studied.
