摘要

Although 1,3-#beta#-glucans from mashrooms are known to have antitimor activity, it is important to elucidate the structure-bop;pgoca; actovotu relationships of natural polysaccharides. We extracted a new poly saccharide from Basidiomycetes and then the structure was determined by chemical and spectroscopic methods, indicating that the polysaccharide had 1,4-#alpha#-D-glucopyranosidic structure like amy lopectin. In addition, it was found that the polysaccharide had an ability of production of interleukin-12 (IL-12) in vivo.
