BIVARIATE CUMULATIVE BINOMIAL TRIAL PROCESS AND ITS APPLICATION TO RELIABILITY ASSESSMENT

A bivariate binomial distribution is the most fundamental probability model with some applications. On the other hand, the cumulative binomial trial process is a simple extension but interesting stochastic process to describe the discrete-time betting behaviour. In this paper, we develop the bivariate cumulative binomial trial process. The results are applied directly to assess the system reliability with three types of errors.
