A MAC Protocol for Multimedia Services in Wireless ATM Network

摘要

In this paper, we propose a new MAC frame based on PRMA/DA using mini-slots for reservation request. If a collision occurs at the previous frame, the number of mini-slots is allocated according to the binary tree algorithm with priority. And, we propose dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithm based on the delay of service classes. We simulate key performance metrics such as throughput, CBR call blocking probability , CBR call access delay, VBR cell transmission delay.
