Recently,there has been increased interest in synthesizing optically active materials,mainly because of their potential applications in ehiral separations,chemical and biological sensors,etc..Among them,chiral carbon nanotubes are especially desired for their important applications in different fields ranging from materials science and molecular electronics to medicine and biochemistry.
