Web-based design and manufacturing system modeling

摘要

In this research, a new approach for modeling design and manufacturing systems distributed at different locations has been introduced based upon Web technologies. In this approach, product libraries and databases modeled at different places are associated by their relations. The systems for modeling different product development life-cycle activities aV different locations are integrated by implementing the system at one location using functions provided by systems at remote locations us the components.
