AUTONOMOUS CO-LOCATION OF A GEO SMALL SATELLITE CLUSTER USING GPS

摘要

This paper presents the design of a Geostationary SmallSat which is inherently capable of autonomously co-locating with other similar satellites. To make this co-location possible, the modifications to existing hardware are identified. Then a number of simulations are performed (orbit estimation and potential function control) which lend credibility to this concept.
