Logan Generating Plant Experience with Zero-Liquid discharge

U. S. Generating Company has successfully commissioned a pulverized coal-fired cogeneration plant that utilizes a zero liquid discharge system to recycle wastewater. This paper provides a brief description of the equipment utilized at the plant, discusses startup and commissioning activities, and highlights the current operation and performance of the water treatment plant.
