Prepared Discussion of: The Influence of Recycled Makeup Water on the Propensity for Microbiological Corrosion

The authors have presented an interesting paper that unfortunately creates more questions than answers. The title of this paper, we believe, should be changed to something like, "Suspended Solids Provides a New Corrosion and Bio-Control Treatment at Sasol Cooling Tower Systems." Plus a brief but general discussion of cooling water corrosion, scale, sediments, and microbiological causes and controls.
