DEVELOPMENT OF PRE MIX CASTING METHOD FOR BLAST FURNACE TROUGHS

With the aim of improving the environment, reducing labor and simplifying the working procedures in casting into a trough in the cast house, we have promoted to develop the pre-mix casting method. Addition of water and the agitation of ingredients using a mixer could be eliminated, so that no dust nor noise generates during the casting operation. In result, the working environment and working efficiency has been significantly improved.
