The mechanism of the strength development of semi-flexible pavement material is studied by employing scanning electron microscope to observe the micro-shapes of semi-flexible pavement mixture at different ages, which consists of cement, accounting for 3%, asphalt, 4% and a dose of additive. By Marshall test and strength test, the law of its strength development is studied and the results of the two tests have been proved to be consistent with that of the micro-test.
