COORDINATION AND INFORMATION: THE NEW PERSPECTIVES FOR COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE

Apparently sound management techniques have been unable to produce sustainable competitive advantage. In this paper we suggest that coordination is the key function for any firm, the real source of competitive advantage. Then, we introduce an information perspective to observe the coordination status within the organization. Finally, we suggest a model for "harmony management" based on the coordination of information flow.
