PEER REVIEW IN SELECTING RD PROJECT

摘要

Peer review is one of the best methods for selecting the basic research proposals for government funding agency. This paper introduces the original and definition of peer review firstly. The procedure of this method divides six step, include receive application, examine, send to assessor, gather the opinion and data deal, meeting review, issue the notice, etc. Matching assessor and adopting appropriate criteria are the most important factors of peer review. Although there is shortage of peer review, the agencies utilize this method none the less and improve or change the peer review endlessly.
