摘要

A new twist extrusion method is a very promising way to provide severe deformation for various materials. Deformation distribution control is fulfilled via variation of the twist angle, billet shape and die axis shift in relation to the billet cross-section symmetry axis. The computer model presented in this paper is capable of predicting and controlling many materials properties, as well as of obtaining different specimens with various shapes. This method could be extensively used in manufacturing of bulk nanostructured details. Software that was designed to simulate this method could be easily adaptable to various flow models as well as connected to other CAD environments.
