The aim of this work is to analyse the scattering by two identical elastic shells immersed in water when they receive an incident plane wave in the eclipsed configuration. Two kinds of circumferential waves (A and S_0 waves) are investigated. In the first part, when the shells are far from each other, we observe, the same results as in the works of K. Kheddioui. At low frequencies and under a critical value of the gap between the two shells, new resonances are detected. In that case we study the acoustic behaviour of the target. A signal processing using Argand diagrams and the calculus of the far field form fonction allow us to confirm the experimental results even in the case of adjacent shells.
