Introduction Previous studies have shown that milk protein synthesis is modulated by AA and small peptides(Averous et al.,2003;Wang et al.,2007),especiallyalteration in concentrations of the plasma amino acid (AA) could affect milk production.Furthermore,the increase of AA flow in the blood is conducive to the formation of milk(Griinari et al.,1997;Korhonen et al.,2002;Mackle et al.,2000).Particularly,augmentation in concentrations of the plasmaAA is positively associated with milk protein gain enhancement and nutrition improvement(Wang and Proud,2008).Thereby the sufficiency and balance of AAs are important for milk protein synthesis.In addition,AAcan alter the protein metabolism afflux to regulate milk protein synthesis,especially leucinewhich can activate the mTOR pathway(Kanazawa et al.,2004).The present study evaluated the effect of high concentrate diet on milk protein percentage and AA metabolism afflux in the dairy goats.
