After forming the 500kV system, it has enhanced thernsecurity, economy & stability level of the network in thernregion of North China. However there are still somernsecure & stable problems in the system. This paperrnpresents a certain philosophy of remedial actionrnschemes for the first contingency in order to prevent thernNorth China power system from cascades, and principlernof the devices.
