摘要

An effective method for analyzing a roller bearing system under loading is presented. The bearing raceways are modeled with a special type of curved finite element which is derived from Winkler curved beam theory. This type of element has the advantage for allowing larger element size in the model such that fewer equations are generated for analysis. Contact deformations due to roller and raceway interactions are included to provide a generalized and integrated approach for the structural analysis of a roller bearing system.
