VIBRATION TEST FORCE LIMITS DERIVED FROM FREQUENCY SHIFT METHOD

摘要

The two-degree-of-freedom-system method used to derive force specifications for force limited vibration tests at JPL is reviewed and some limitations of the method are discussed. A new improved "frequency shift" force prediction method, is developed and applied to a more complex model where the load and source have both residual and modal masses.
