摘要

Tungsten oxide (WO_3) have attracted extensive attention in recent years due to their excellent physical and chemical properties, such as electrochromism, photochromism, gaschromism, high sensitivity gas sensing and etc , and thus have been widely used for Infrared switching devices, catalyst, and practical gas sensors. Moreover, the nanostructures of tungsten oxide have been provided to have better performance in gas sensing and a faster rate of photochromism than that of bulk materials, owing to their large surface-to-volume ratio and quantum size effect.
