摘要

Since Tang et al. found that an 8-hydroxyquinoline aluminum (Alq_3) complex can be used as an emitting element in electroluminescent ( EL) devices, organic EL devices have received much attention and many other 8-hydroxyquinoline derivatives, including some new amphiphilic molecule, were also used as emitters . Rare earth ions have long been investigated due to their distinct spectral characteristics and have been wide used in EL devices studies. Using Langmuir-Blodgett ( LB ) technique to fabricate highly ordered films of lanthanum metal complexes may have potential applications in EL devices.
