摘要

The new concept of tribological material for internal combustion engine components, aiming at reduction of friction loss and control of gas leakage has been proposed. To develop these technologies, the inorganic-organic hybrids with new properties, such as wettability with oil, mechanical strength and thermal conductivity, have been synthesized by sol-gel process. In this paper, it was found that the friction property of inor ganic-organic hybrid was significantly improved by adding only 10% organic component with a good wettability with oil.
