In an attempt to enhance the visual effect ofrnSPOT image, this study develops a neural networkrnalgorithm to transform SPOT false color into simulatedrntrue color. The method has been tested using LandsatrnTM and SPOT images. The qualitative and quantitativerncomparisons indicate that the striking similarity can bernfound between the true and simulated true images inrnterms of the visual looks and the statistical analysis.
