Web Service for Association Rule Mining Using XML Message Passing

摘要

Data mining tools are designed to provide the user with operations that are easy to perform to accomplish data mining tasks. Various data mining tools have been developed, many of which provide good graphical user interface or graphical representations of the mining results, in addition to the functionalities for performing the data mining tasks. These tools, however, are often not Web-based so they do not provide the user with universal accessibility.rnIn this paper, we present a Web-based data mining system for users to perform data mining task anywhere the Web is accessible. It is currently focused on mining association rules. The system uses the Web service technology with communication via XML messages following the SOAP standard. This system is an application using the Web services and XML technologies.
