摘要

An automotive light assembly monitoring system based on accelerometers has been developed. Initial testing and data analysis has been conducted. The results show that the system is able to pick up differences at the low frequency range (under 3000 Hz). Results were very sensitive to the locations of the accelerometers. In summary, the accelerometer based diagnostic system has shown good potential. Future work will involve comparison of test results with an acoustic-based monitoring system.
