Taking attendance in educational institutions take ample amount of class time. The IOT based autonomous class attendance system is aimed to solve this class time wastage problem without using any biometric sensor. Precious class time is not needed to keep attendance in this autonomous way, nor there are chances for any misshape in keeping records. This system can be served as tool for recording student attendance history in a time efficient and digitalized manner where the use of personal data is more secure. The main challenge was to identify a single person without using any bio-metric sensors. So, we used a unique factor, the W-H Fusion function in the proposed system for identification. Load cell, ultrasonic sensor and RFID reader are used to collect individual's information. Raspberry-pi is used to integrate sensor inputs and to communicate with cloud database as an IOT device.
