Ultrasound Image Processing for Improving Diagnose of Renal Diseases

摘要

In this paper, an approach for ultrasound image segmentation and renal vessels evaluation is presented. The proposed approach includes the following basic stages: image enhancement of the original image, kidney segmentation via active contour, renal vessels segmentation, and renal vessels evaluation. The simulation and experimental results are presented to demonstrate its application in clinical diagnosis.
