In this paper efforts have been put to achieve a low-cost, and high-efficiency DC/DC converter based BLDC driven water pumping system. Major consideration is low PV output voltage having parallel-connected structure coupled to a cascaded combination of two boost stages namely Quadratic Boost Zeta and Isolated Zeta forming Integrated Quadratic Boost Converter with high static voltage gain. Utilized control algorithm makes the system devoid of current sensors allowing fundamental frequency switching of voltage source inverter (VSI). DC link voltage from VSI controls the speed of BLDC drive reliving from any complexity in circuit whereas BLDC drive soft-starts as INC-MPPT controls the converter. Results for this system are recorded under both steady and dynamic conditions providing sufficient outputs to verify the efficiency of contemplated system. The modeling has been done using Simulink/MATLAB.
