World's first true `Stealth' aircraft F-117 Nighthawk Fighter is considered as the target object and its Radar Cross Section (RCS) has been measured in this paper. RCS is an important parameter for radar to detect the target accurately. Two of the most important parameters of RCS such as frequency of the radar transceiver and the aspect angle are varied and the best outcome is recorded as the result. Using COMSOL Multiphysics software a virtual air field has been created and the CAD model of F - 117 is applied in it. With a planar electric field as the incident radar signal of a distant transmitter, the RCS has been measured for the target object. This result clearly depicted that better RCS can be obtained at the upper order frequency of S band wave range (above 3.5 GHz) and at some specific aspect angles it exhibits higher detectability.
