摘要

Low frequency electromechanical oscillation are prescribed features in power system and it tremendous affect on the line transfer capability and stability of the power system. power system oscillations can be damped by FACTS devices. Computer simulation studies performed on a multimachine test system are presented in this paper and comprehensive analysis and results are obtained for voltage profile at all buses, damping of oscillations in the power system during fault conditions with UPFC at various locations in the test system.
