摘要

This paper analyzes the effect of rotor bar inclination on starting torque, operating torque and operating efficiency in squirrel cage induction motor(SCIM) with finite element analysis method. The results show that the optimum inclination of rotor bar improve all the performances together. An application to the 3.4kW SCIM shows that the starting torque is increased from 17.53Nm to 17.64Nm, and the operating torque is increased from 11.19Nm to 11.26Nm. Also, the operating efficiency is increased from 94.18% to 94.81%.
