摘要

The choice of a facility layout design is a very complicated decision. It requires a specific multi-attribute decision making process involving various criteria. In fact the evaluation and the selection of a facility layout planning are usually crucial decision and requires a long processing approach since the criteria have different nature (qualitative and qualitative) and conflicting features. The quality and effectiveness of the production and manufacturing process relies on the choice of the layout planning design. Thus, we developed in this paper an evaluation system for the effectiveness and reliability of the different designs. The proposed approach is based a linguistic-numerical evaluation and mathematical modeling using interpolation theory with hybrid functions. The objective is to present an effective, easy numerical and visual comparison system of layout designs alternatives.
