Resident's consumer demand, government assignment and development of urban agricultural products logistics — Based on the data of agricultural products market in Beijing

Based on the theory of logistics management, urban planning and evolutionary economics, this study selects agricultural products market in Beijing as the main research object, and explores the relationship among resident's consumer demand, government assignment and development of urban agricultural products logistics. This research appears to find, (1) there is a positive correlativity between resident's consumer demand and development of urban agricultural products logistics, (2) as an adjustment variable, government assignment can change the speed and direction of development of urban agricultural products logistics, (3) the evolution of agricultural products logistics is a co-evolution process of market and government assignment. This paper enriches the empirical study of urban agricultural products logistics, as well as provides the necessary theoretical reference for government to assign agricultural products logistics.
