The impact and measures of industrial hollowing-out on China's economic structural adjustments under the new normal

Industrial hollowing-out is a kind of objective existence and phenomenon, as well as a process of metabolism which represents sending off old industries while welcoming the new in the development of industry. As every sword has its two edges, industrial hollowing-out is no exception. Seizing the new strategic opportunities of “the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st-century Maritime Silk Road” and “the Yangtze River Economic Belt”, we should take advantages of the positive aspects of industrial structural adjustments and avoid their harmful sides to the development of economy, in order to optimize the industrial structure, maintain the industrial safety, and further promote the development of China's economy healthily and steadily, especially under the new normal.
