摘要

ERP education at higher education institutions is a widely debated topic. In this context, challenges for developing countries increasingly become an area of focus. In recent academic discourses and debates there is a clear tendency to highlight the critical factors for a successful ERP education. This research paper tries to broaden the perspective on ERP education by linking critical success factors to sustainability considerations. Sustainability still is an underestimated but substantial aspect concerning ERP education. With a regional focus on sub-Saharan Africa the potential of integrating sustainability criteria into educational processes are illustrated. By means of a case study, a possible approach of successfully linking ERP education and sustainability criteria will be introduced.
