Detection and prevention of outliers in resource constraint mobile sensor devices

Security is a major constraint for resource constraint mobile sensor devices with respect to confidentially, integrity, authentication & authorization and key management. In this work detection and prevention of unprecedented data identified from resource constraint mobile sensor device is proposed. The proposed detection and prevention schemes are considerably better to other existing schemes in terms of energy efficiency, scalability and optimization of available resources. Further, a hybrid approach is developed which integrates some of the well accepted protocols. Results show that the detection ratio and performance of proposed outlier detection method is better than existing mechanisms.
