摘要

The traditional approach to design-engineering preparation of production (DEPP) has many drawbacks. And the most important one is in that the sequence of DEPP in modern production is completely broken and compressed in time. It is necessary to establish an optimal effective approach to DEPP (synchronous approach). This problem can be solved by modern computer-aided design (CAD) software. It may reduce the complexity of a variety of processes in production and combine them in time. This study describes a modern effective approach to DEPP based on the CAD/CAM NX and PLM Teamcenter. Beside that, this work provides fundamental principles of practical implementation of synchronous technological preparation of production. It will reduce labor costs and increase the quality of modern production.
