In this study we report the energy harvesting via piezoelectric Y-cut LiNbO (010) crystal under oscillated vibration at temperature from 200°C to 500°C. The aim of the study was to investigate to the potential of LiNbO for high temperature applications rather than to optimize the design of the harvester. The conductivity, relative permittivity and loss tangent of LiNbO was assessed via impedance spectroscopy measurements by raising the temperature from 50°C to 750°C and back to 50°C. The output voltage under resonant frequency was found to be stable from 200°C to 400°C and collapsed at 500°C due to the loss in the spring stiffness of the load spring.
