Preparation -non linear optical properties of CdSe -KCL nanocomposite material

摘要

The aim is to make a nanocomposite with CdSe NCs in a crystalline matrix. The material is prepared in the monocrystalline form for more damage resistance of laser radiation; in fact we are looking for a material with a larger damage threshold. In this work we report the preparation nanocomposite material CdSe/KCl. Structural characterization and nonlinear optical property analysis of this material was studied using X-ray diffraction and the second harmonic generation (SHG) response was investigated by means of a marker fringes method using Nd: YAG laser at 1064 nm in picoseconds regime. Second order susceptibilities were deduced from the signal intensity of SHG measurement. The obtained value was compared to standard material.
