摘要

This study aims to develop a virtual education assistance system with simulated river ecosystems with 3D visualization to help to learn the river environments in Taiwan. This education system is capable of viewing and learning the information and swimming habits of a variety fishes. The development of the system can be divided into three important parts: 1) applying Unity3D game engine to develop platform;2) adopting Mipmapping, DDS images and Normal bump Mapping to improve system execution performance and image quality;3) Using JavaScript simulate fish ecology. The system has set a detailed explanation of the system operating; allowing users to quickly enter the water to explore the biological and quickly integrate into the natural ecological contexts of ecological river. This study has demonstrated that this new system can effectively help the users to quick access the ecology of aquatic life and to rapidly immerse themselves into natural ecological contexts.
