摘要

The demand for increase in wind turbine blade size promotes exponential performance requirements of blade bonding adhesive.The previous studies show the toughness of blade bonding adhesives should be improved as the enhancement in both mechanical properties and technological properties.This study characterized the core–shell rubber modified epoxy by different methods,including tensile test,izod impact test,DSC,SEM,etc.We found that the nano- or micro- core-shell rubber (CSR) particles toughen adhesives were better than liquid rubber or inorganic modified ones.Compared to an extensive-used commercial product,the novel blade bonding adhesive that we synthesized offered good properties in balance with stiffness,strength and fracture toughness.
