摘要

This paper presents the design and analysis of a down-conversion mixer for TD-SCDMA/LTE/LTE-Advanced application between 1.8–2.6 GHz. The proposed mixer is based on double-balanced Gilbert cell for its well-balanced performances. Designed in 0.18-µm process, the mixer achieves a conversion gain(CG) of 3.28–3.64 dB, a single sideband noise figure(NF) of 7.92-8.05 dB, and an input third-order intercept point(IIP3) of 4.4–4.68 dBm between 1.8–2.6 GHz. No inductor is employed in this circuit to reduce the circuit size, and the area of the core mixer layout is 0.147mm×0.132mm, while the area of total chip is 0.575mm×0.560mm.
