摘要

The region of Mesocyclone and other severe convective weather is usually in or near the region with strong reflectivity, and the weak reflectivity region is unlikely to occur Mesocyclone. So this paper presented a radar radial velocity data preprocessing algorithm based on morphology. First, the strong reflectivity region and its neighboring region can be got by dilation operation in morphology, and then remain the corresponding region of radial velocity data.The method in this paper can remain the intact feature region of Mesocyclone, and also can greatly reduce the data to be processed.
