Wireless remote control and fault diagnosis in a variety ofrnapplications are fast becoming common parts of our usualrnlives. However, it is difficult to design a unified solutionrndue to the absence of the sense of generality and thernscarcity of compatibleness in the heterogeneous applicationsrnto simply control. In this paper, we describe anrnimplementation of a Bluetooth Stack-enabled TCP/IPrnprotocol (BSTP) for integrating both wireless remoterncontrol and fault-diagnosis solution. Especially, users canrneasily access general diagnostic systems without additionalrndevices. We propose a fault diagnosis system ofrnhome appliances over BSTP with a mobile phone, whichrnenables remote-control, fault-detection for home appliances.
